Ambiance - casual spot for dinner, very very tight tables, good for small groups but they can accommodate for bigger families downstairs also Service - food came out fairly quickly & ordered through an iPad to send to kitchen Food - French style beef tenderloin was my absolute favorite (beef was tender, juicy, and flavorful), razor clams/clams were a bit sandy, steamed freshwater fish had a slight mud aftertaste, salt & pepper chicken wings was a classic

Some of the best Chinese I've had. The taco bao is perfection. A true hidden gem. They were very accommodating to some special sauce requests for the duck as well.

The food was so good, but we got too much for 5 people. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is a little tight, but the environment was still pleasant. I would come again! FOOD: Beef tenderloin - looked dry but was actually moist and tender! Not heavily marinated or seasoned, which was pleasant. Not chewy, which was good. Beef chow fun - tasty with noodles that did not stick together. Noodles also had some crunchy spots, likely from being seared in a wok idk. It was tasty but a little oily. The beef was in small, tender pieces. Salt and pepper soft shell crab - first time having soft shell crab, and it was fantastic. It's pricey, but it was made so nicely. The fried breading was light, airy, and crispy. The breading was complimented by the crab meat inside. So good with a bit of chili oil. Braised duck - the sauce was real delish with the duck, pretty umami. The meat was not difficult to eat off the bone, which is usually annoying to me, but this was all right. Fried tofu - somehow the breading is thicker, and the inside is milky soft tofu. Scrumptious. Veggies - mushrooms, some kind of green that's thicker than cai lan, broccoli, watercress, and baby corn. It was in a pinkish sauce and was fine. Not my fave dish.

Every dish you order here promises to delight! We often visit during weekday dinners, enjoying the peaceful vibe without the weekend rush. The food is always bursting with fresh flavors & the portions are just right. You'll find the ambiance reminiscent of any bustling Chinatown. The staff radiates warmth & friendliness, esp when they're not overwhelmed by customers!

This is the first time we visit this restaurant and I love all the dishes that we order. We got the razor clams over vermicelli, taro duck, eggplants, and tofu with fish fillet clay pot. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. The food did take a while to come out. Service was decent it's a small restaurant with 1-2 server. I'd love to come back and try their other dishes!

Delicious food. If you ever crave Chinese food when visiting Chicago, you can't go wrong with this place. The food is authentic and as good as any restaurant in LA in the same price range. Service is friendly and prices are fair. The restaurant is a bit divey for some but just right for me. Highly recommend if you appreciate authentic Chinese food.

One of our go-to places in Chinatown. It sure doesn't look like anything from the outside, but the food is pretty great. We loved the salt and pepper squid, French beef, hot and sour lime fish (neither hot nor sour, but delicious), and pumpkin crab soup. The eggplant stuffed with shrimp was a bland rendition, and the baked rice with seafood was mostly cream. But the top dishes are top notch indeed. Simple, plain room. The iPad ordering system works well.

I almost don't know if I should post a review.. I want this place to stay a hidden gem. I stopped in for something small to eat. First, the placed smelled delicious so I had a feeling it was going to be good. But... I had no idea, how good. The crust, the lobster & crab, the sauce.. even the size of the rangoons were perfect. Best crab rangoons I've had in a long time. I'm definitely coming back for a much larger meal
